The human body is a complex yet delicate system. Every female will experience in their lifetime naturally at puberty the coming of age as they say...the" menstrual cycle". This monthly cycle will go on for about half the life time of a woman i.e2000 to 3000 days of their lives. It 's believed that a woman's body is at the weakest during this period.

When a healthy female reaches puberty, the ovaries will undergo periodic changes as the ovules develop, get mature and discharges out of the body. At the same time there is a secretion of sex hormones. The endometrium in the uterus which is controlled by the sex hormones will then undergo changes of thickening, shedding and repair. When the endometrium is discharged through the vagina with some blood, this process is called menstruation
This menstrual cycle lasts up to 4 to 7 days. The next cycle will take place after 28 to 30 days. Periodic menstruation is an essential part of a`woman's life to indicate she has a normal reproductive system.

During menstruation a woman's skin is the most vulnerable and sensative.There is also a change in harmonal balance which results in bad temperament, abdomenial cramps which results in stress.
